Injury Wrap: Frank Gore expected to go; Stevie Johnson GTD

Everybody hurts, sometimes. Settle in for the A to Z look at Week 11 injuries. Here's your priority list for boarding: RB, QB, WR TE, and then the leftovers.

• Frank Gore (knee/ankle) took partial reps this week and is listed as questionable, though all context clues point to him playing against Arizona. Considering how much stronger San Francisco appears than Arizona, this looks like a game where Gore and Kendall Hunter could both collect 10-15 touches.

Beanie Wells (knee) had a limited practice week and is listed as questionable against the Niners. He's expected to play through the injury, but I don't see how anyone can expect much from him up against the ridiculous San Francisco rushing defense (3.4 YPC, 73.2 YPG, zero touchdowns). And remember Wells isn't much as a receiver — he has just 11 receptions over his last 21 games.

• Peyton Hillis (karma) is out for another week, but the Browns did get Montario Hardesty (calf) back Friday for some individual drills. Perhaps Hardesty has a chance to play Sunday against the Jaguars, though you have to fully expect Chris Ogbonnaya to start and get the majority of the work.

Darren McFadden (foot) has been ruled out for Week 11, so look for plenty of Michael Bush against the Vikings.

Matt Forte has a sore shoulder but he's listed as probable — deploy as usual.

Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) won't go against Philadelphia, which means Brandon Jacobs is ready for another start. Danny Ware is the second option.

Felix Jones (ankle) had a limited practice week and is no sure thing to play against Washington. If he does dress Sunday, it will be as a backup to DeMarco Murray.

• There's nothing wrong with Seahawks back Marshawn Lynch — he's been rock-solid the last two weeks — but holes could be hard to come by against the Rams. Seattle lost two linemen to season-ending injuries last week: right tackle John Carpenter and right guard John Moffitt.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis (toe) is doing his normal routine this week, limited sessions. He's carrying the questionable tag. He's still the first New England back I'd look to against Kansas City, but you know the risks that come with any Belichick backfield.

Injury Wrap: Frank Gore expected to go; Stevie Johnson GTDJahvid Best (post concussion) remains out indefinitely; I'd be surprised if he does anything this year. Look for Maurice Morris to start against Carolina, with Kevin Smith getting work as well.

Tashard Choice (hamstring) is listed as probable. You know Mike Shanahan is itching to get a new toy in the backfield.

Michael Vick (ribs) missed the full practice week and it would be a shock if he played against the Giants. I'm not risking anything on this one. Good luck with your prime-time reemergence, Vince Young.

Kevin Kolb (toe) might be healthy enough to be the No. 2 quarterback this week, but John Skelton is fully expected to get the start at San Francisco. We know one thing about Skelton — he's not afraid to force the ball to Larry Fitzgerald.

Matt Cassel had hand surgery this week and is out indefinitely. Inexperienced journeyman Tyler Palko gets the call at New England, with Ricky Stanzi moving up to No. 2.

Matthew Stafford (finger) was involved at practice all week and will start against the Panthers.

• Other probable quarterbacks who are expected to start include Christian Ponder (non-throwing hand), Sam Bradford (ankle), Josh Freeman (thumb) and Tavaris Jackson (pectoral).

Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) didn't see any practice time and looks unlikely to play against New York. Riley Cooper and Steve Smith should get extra reps as a trickle-down affect, though Smith obviously does his best work in the slot. If you're looking for free-agent help at the wide-receiver position, we have an extensive shopping list waiting for you here.

A.J. Green (knee) had a washout week and is listed as doubtful. Find a different option. Andre Caldwell will pick up the start.

Stevie Johnson (shoulder) did some light work Friday and should be able to go at Miami, though he's far from a sure thing. At least it's an early start here. David Nelson (ankle/illness) also had a limited Friday and is questionable, though he's expected to play.

Jacoby Ford (ankle) isn't going to play at Minnesota, a boost to anyone feeling the Denarius Moore story. The ravaged Vikings secondary will be without Antoine Winfield.

Miles Austin (hamstring) had a washout week and isn't going to play at Washington. Considering the short turnaround before Dallas hosts Miami on Thanksgiving, you have to assume Austin will be down at least two more weeks. Laurent Robinson is a strong play while Austin is out.

Sidney Rice (post concussion) and Doug Baldwin (post concussion) had strong practice weeks and should be good to go against St. Louis.

Malcom Floyd (hip) is out for Week 11, which pushes Vincent Brown up our board.

Wes Welker (knee) has missed a few reps but he's still expected to play in full against Kansas City.

Mohamed Massaquoi (post concussion) worked Friday and is listed as probable. Good luck with that Cleveland passing game.

Lee Evans (ankle) looks like a game-time decision for Sunday's match against Cincinnati. Given how his season has gone, I can't see why you'd risk anything with him.

Michael Crabtree (foot) and Braylon Edwards (knee) are both listed as probable. Arizona's secondary awaits.

Injury Wrap: Frank Gore expected to go; Stevie Johnson GTDJulio Jones (hamstring) missed the full practice week and while he's listed as questionable, it doesn't seem like he's going to go against Tennessee. Harry Douglas becomes a viable WR3 with Jones expected out.

Danario Alexander (hamstring) is considered doubtful for Week 11. He shouldn't be on your roster; find someone healthy.

Michael Jenkins (knee) should be able to play against Oakland. He's probable.

Visanthe Shiancoe (hamstring) should be able to play against Oakland but he's not 100 percent. Kyle Rudolph, an intriguing young player, is the second tight end.

Anthony Fasano (ankle) finished the week with two limited practices and is listed as questionable.

Jeremy Shockey (ribs) is unlikely to play in Detroit, which pushes more workload to Greg Olsen.

Sebastian Janikowski (ankle) is listed as probable. He should kick through it, but just know he's not 100 percent.

Dan Carpenter (groin) is listed as questionable and the Dolphins have been looking at some other kickers. We should know the plan by the end of Saturday.

• A pair of St. Louis offensive tackles — Jason Smith and Rodger Saffold — are out for Week 11. Saffold is actually down for the rest of the year.

• The Chargers offensive line is a mess right now. Left tackle Marcus McNeill (neck) won't play at Chicago and left guard Kris Dielman (concussion) is out for the year.

• Packers LT Chad Clifton (knee) is out for another week. They've been managing fine without him.

Osi Umenyiora (knee) and Justin Tuck (ankle) are both expected to play against the Eagles. Umenyiora is probable, Tuck questionable.

• Raiders DT Richard Seymour (knee) will be a game-time decision.

• Ravens LB Ray Lewis (foot) isn't expected to play in the divisional showdown against Cincinnati.

• Niners LB Navorro Bowman (neck) worked Friday and is listed as probable.

• Packers LB Clay Matthews (ankle) hasn't been fully healthy for a while, but he'll go against Tampa Bay. He's probable.

• Bengals CB Leon Hall (Achilles) is out for the year, a significant loss.

• Cowboys CB Mike Jenkins (hamstring) won't play at Washington.

• Jaguars CB Rashean Mathis (knee) is out for the year.

• Panther CB Captain Munnerlyn (quad) worked Friday and should play at Detroit. I just like saying "Captain Munnerlyn."

• Redskins safety LaRon Landry (achilles) is a game-time decision.

• Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor (head) should go at St. Louis.

• Giants corner Aaron Ross (quad) worked Friday and should play against the Eagles.
