Robbie Findley somehow misses from right in front of goal

Sitting third from the bottom in the Championship, nothing seems to be going right for Nottingham Forest this season, but striker Robbie Findley might have just provided the lowlight of the season in its FA Cup third-round replay against Leicester.

After a George Boateng own goal gave Leicester a 1-0 lead in just the seventh minute, Findley had a golden opportunity to equalize only three minutes later after Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel tipped a deflected cross right to him, mere inches away from the open net. But even though Findley was a member of the U.S. team at the 2010 World Cup, he's always been known to have more speed than finishing ability, so when he did a little hop to volley in the deflection off Schmeichel, he skied the ball over the crossbar from so close that such an occurrence almost doesn't seem possible.

Since joining Forest from Real Salt Lake last year, Findley has scored five goals in 24 appearances across all competitions, so he is capable of a better result. Sometimes.

Leicester went on to win 4-0 to advance to the fourth round.
