Next it'll be Greg McElroy at a Rangers game.
One week after greeting Tim Tebow with a Bronx cheer at Yankee Stadium, New York sports fans showered boos upon Jets starting quarterback Mark Sanchez at Wednesday night's Knicks game. Santonio Holmes was sitting next to Sanchez courtside but it ruins the narrative if we assume some of the boos were directed toward his 2011 outbursts.
Both players laughed off the boos, which is healthy, seeing as how Sanchez should be expecting them at MetLife Stadium the first time he goes three-and-out in September.

The quarterback and receiver had a contentious public relationship last season, with Holmes, a captain, getting benched late in the season for fighting with his teammates during a game. Earlier in the year, Holmes criticized the team's offense.
They've been trying to mend the relationship during the offseason. Sanchez sent Santonio a Valentine's message on Twitter. Despite that, they were not shown on the Kiss Cam at the Knicks game.
Antonio Cromartie was also sitting with his Jets teammates but wasn't shown at that time on the Jumbotron, presumably because MSG officials didn't want to risk the impregnation of game attendees.
