Court Report: What’s the status?

Zach Randolph did not participate in contact drills with his Grizzlies teammates on Monday, as anticipated, which means he's not going to be playing when the team returns to action on Wednesday. Z-Bo ran sprints and did other on-court activities but is still not quite ready for hard cuts and lateral movement, and said he "can't put a percentage" on how close he feels. A purely speculative return date is March 7, at the Warriors - the Grizz play three games over the next four days (Wed DAL, Fri @TOR, Sat DET) and then have three days off before heading to Oakland [schedule], and it's highly unlikely that he'd be activated before running through a full practice.

• Stephen Curry did not practice Monday and it is highly unlikely that he'll play Tuesday, according to Mark Jackson. Curry wanted to participate in drills but the team chose to hold him out as a precautionary measure. An MRI over the All-Star break confirmed that his latest injury is unrelated to his ankle issues, and that his ankle remains sound. The Warriors will take it easy with Curry in the short-term, given that they are headed for quite a busy stretch run. The team finishes February with a back-to-back (Tue (@IND, Wed @ATL), have seven more sets in the following four weeks, and have consecutive days off just once over the remainder of the season [schedule].

• Wilson Chandler has been cleared to sign with an NBA team and has until Thursday to receive an offer sheet from a team other than the Nuggets. The Nuggets won't sign him to a one-year deal for the remainder of the season, since he'd then become an unrestricted free agent this summer. That leaves the following three options for the coming days: he signs a long-term deal with the Nuggets, he signs a long-term deal with another team, or he doesn't play until next season. The Nuggets have the upper-hand in almost any scenario, given their cap space, but there is speculation that it's only 50/50 that he returns to the Nuggets this season with the long-term deal that he's seeking.

• Kobe Bryant suffered a broken nose during Sunday's All-Star game and will meet with an ear, nose, and throat specialist on Tuesday. Kobe's status for Wednesday remains uncertain at this point.

Other status updates: Andrew Bynum received a lubricating injection in his right knee on Saturday but it was said to be routine and precautionary, not a treatment for a new injury .. Joe Johnson (knee) received ice and electrical stimulation treatments over the All-Star break and is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday .. Tyson Chandler's wrist is still not healed. He'll see a doctor on Tuesday and may end up sitting a game or two .. Drew Gooden (wrist) practiced Monday and will return to the starting lineup on Tuesday .. Andrea Bargnani (calf) did some running on the side while the Raptors practiced on Monday but remains without a timetable .. Andrew Bogut won't need surgery on his ankle fracture and will be re-evaluated in four weeks. Bogut said "it's going to be close" in terms of playing again this season .. Spencer Hawes' Achilles issues will cost him at least another two weeks .. Brandon Bass (knee) practiced Monday but will be a game-time decision Tuesday .. The Wizards are hopeful that Andray Blatche (calf) will be cleared by doctors to resume basketball activities sometime this week .. For the Bobcats: Gerald Henderson (hamstring) hopes to play Wednesday, Corey Maggette (knee) is questionable .. Richard Hamilton (leg) is a game-time decision on Tuesday.
