Temperatures at Gillette Stadium dipped into the low-30s on Monday night and ESPN play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico was prepared. He called up Elmer Fudd, borrowed a sweater from his wife and positioned himself next to Jon Gruden's impersonation of a religious statue. Tirico looks like he's starring in a remake of the Kirk Cameron hit "Like Father, Like Son," and is the dad who switches bodies and wardrobe with his young child.
Tirico's colleague Scott Van Pelt tweeted about the hat. Tirico noticed and retweeted Van Pelt's message during the game.

I don't blame Tirico for having an iPad in the booth and checking Twitter. If I had to be stuck in a room with Jon Gruden for four hours, I'd need a distraction too.
